Our Employee Benefits Package for Full-time Employees

Health Insurance through Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska

• Full-time (30+ hours weekly) employees are covered.
• Dental and vision care (through Vision Service Plan) are included in the Plan.
• The annual deductible is $1,000/individual or $3,000/family, with a Health Reimbursement Arrangement plan which funds $500/individual or $1,500/family of the annual deductible.
• Our policy includes preventive care.
• Alaska Pacific Bank pays approximately 85% of the premium for employees and 80% for employees' dependents. The cost per paycheck is as follows:
       -Employee only - $49.26
       -Employee & spouse - $134.77
       -Employee & child(ren) - $121.26
       -Entire family - $190.81

Group Life Insurance and AD&D

• Full-time employees are covered.
• Policy pays twice the employee’s annual salary to beneficiary (double for accidental death).
• Alaska Pacific pays the premiums.

Long-Term Disability Insurance

• Full-time employees are covered.
• The policy pays 60% of the employee’s gross monthly salary, up to a maximum of $6,000/mo.
• Policy premiums are paid by employee (monthly cost = salary x .0033).

Cafeteria Plan

• Enables employees to take advantage of Section 125 of the IRS Code.
• Increases take-home pay by allowing payroll deductions for certain insurance, medical, and daycare expenses before taxes are calculated

401K Retirement Plan

Employees over 18 years old and employed over 90 days are eligible to participate.

• Employee may elect to defer 1%-92% of salary to the 401K Plan.
• Alaska Pacific matches employee’s deferral at 100% with an annual maximum of 4% of the employee’s compensation.
• Enrollment dates:  Jan 1, April 1, July 1, and Oct 1 of each year.

Employee Assistance Program

• Premiums are paid by Alaska Pacific.
• All family members are covered.
• Personal problem counseling free for up to six visits with qualified counselors.
• There is also a legal consultation component in the plan.

Paid Vacation and Sick Leave Benefits

• Two weeks vacation accrues first year (minimum)
• One day per month accrues for sick leave
• Up to nine paid holidays each year, plus one floating day
