Our Senior Management Team

Craig E. Dahl

President & Chief Executive Officer

Craig joined the bank in 1992 as Executive Vice President and was named President in April 1996. He is a long-time community banker with more than 34 years experience in Alaska banking. Under his leadership, the bank was converted to a stock-owned savings bank and has grown significantly. Prior to joining Alaska Pacific, he was the President of the B.M. Behrends Bank in Juneau.

Craig is very active in various community and banking organizations. He serves on the Government Relations Council for the American Bankers Association, and served two terms as President of the Alaska Bankers Association. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Federal Home Loan Bank Seattle since fall 2004, and he currently serves as the vice chairman of the board. He is a past-president and member of the Glacier Valley Rotary and served as the Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 5010, for the years 2004-2006. He and his family have made Alaska their home for more than 45 years.

Christopher Bourque

Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Chris joined Alaska Pacific Bank in April 2004, as Vice President of Operations and was promoted to his current position in May 2006. He has worked in banking for nearly 35 years, with most of that experience at Alaska financial institutions, in the areas of bank and branch operations. He oversees Alaska Pacific's branches and Central Services. He is responsible for product development, sales, training, compliance, and overall oversight for all non-lending products and services. He graduated with honors from the School of Bank Administration.

Julie Pierce

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Julie started her employment with Alaska Pacific in September 2007. She brought over eight years of experience as a strategic level finance officer to the position. Highlights include serving as the Chief Financial Officer for another local financial institution from 1999-2004, working as the Director of Finance and Development for the Sealaska Heritage Institute from 2004-2005, and holding the position of Assistant State Comptroller and Comptroller for the State of Alaska from 2005, until accepting her new position with Alaska Pacific. She has a Masters of Business Administration degree and is a Certified Public Accountant. As Chief Financial Officer, she is responsible for the bank's overall financial management, including oversight of budgeting, analysis, forecasting, interest-rate risk, and financial reporting.
